So, it turns out Democrats can be retarded too when it comes to online gaming.

Steve Beshear is a moron and will not receive support from this Democrat if I ever move to Kentucky (which I won't, but it's the principle of the matter).

Anyone live in Kentucky? Time for mass letters to your local state congressman or something. God damn I hate stupid people.

If somehow these sites magically got blocked in Kentucky, I give the poker community about 25 seconds before they find a work around.
26 seconds would be just too much time for the average hacker.

you're right but

for one, the fish wont do that
secondly, the provider themselves might deny access to residents of said state, meaning they would need fake account or something similar

It's actually the Democrats that pass a lot of the nanny-bullshit. In Washington State, the move to outlaw online gambling was headed by a Democrat (just so happens a huge chunk of his campaign donations come from tribal casinos). The move to ban smoking inside restaurants/bars or "30 feet" from doorways or air vents, this was a move pushed much more strongly by the Democrats.

Can't we just all agree to be Libertarians already? This shit is just so pathetically stupid.

This action is totally retarded...a lot like john mccain plans

Even if successful, it only means that poker players have to pay $10-$15 for access to a proxy server, not ending poker playing in any way, but taking even more money out of that state's economy.
