I think this is pretty standard, although with stack sizes I think it's best to either shove the turn or C/R C/C (depending on if they shove). You can also CRAI on the flop against certain villains, I suppose, but I don't favor that line, especially against a villain that didn't simply shove over your open preflop.

Yeah, looking at it, I dont know why I didnt shove the turn actually. I mean, I commited him regardless. Im going to start posting hands I play (get "involved" around here). If they seem simple they probably are, Im a noob.

I would have played it like you did only pushed on the turn.

The preflop raise is nice because you don´t want to give the BB good odds. And only cateye has a sufficient stack to have hopes of you folding if he re-raises, so there is little point in trying to raise small trying to induce an all-in with a non-great hand.

The bet on the flop is nice. It can induce an all-in bluff as it looks like you may be trying to steal the pot by gambling that the villain doesn´t have an ace. And the board is not very scary, so you are unlikely to be giving odds to call. The small bet may also make someone call with a pocket pair or something who otherwise would have folded.

On the turn there are two diamonds out there, stacks are small compared to the pot and the villain has shown a willingness to call bets. So give him the worst odds possible by pushing all-in and expect him to call with an ace with a medium kicker.

On the river you have two pairs and is very likely to have the best hand, squeeze the last juice out of him by pushing.
