Default Home Game

i just got runner runner 3 outted at a home game. 66 on a K65rb flop. villain raises over my lead and a caller, I shove over his raise with an 80BB stack (made a bad call a couple hands before). the caller whines and folds, villain snap calls with KTo.

turn 10 river K

P.S. I know this is actually a 4 outter but the caller said he folded a King.

a perfect end to a lovely night.

Oh yeah, and there was some idiot that tried to break into one our cars. He didn't know there were about 15 people prepared to beat the hell out of him. But I didn't even get to do that as he ran away when someone who was smoking outside saw him.

I won't go into how the hand breaks down exactly because I dont remember...

The first time I played live 1-2NL in a casino. 994 flop while I'm holding x9. Villian hits runner runner Q's to take the pot.

Live poker is rigged imo.

So much about this is just plain wrong. Doesn't she know she needs to fold the flop and shove the river?

Swoop, tell your Mum she's a nit

Not to be too pedantic about it but runner runner quads is more like 1,000 to 1 against.

the first bad beat you take live always seems the worst.

plus when live your not playing 10 tables and therefore it stings much more.

Keep your hair on! I know it's just a hand of poker but I think 1000:1 and 100:1 are quite a bit different.

Anyway, this is Poker Stories, not one of the strategy forums - this is supposed to be the place to post things you find interesting and that you hope other people will find interesting too. If you don't find it interesting no need to belittle the guys who do.

I thought Lol's story was pretty funny and not a standard bad beat. Doesn't the thought of him getting cold-decked by Swoop's Mum strike you as just a bit amusing? Come on.....maybe just a tiny little smile?

Drewbles is just upset because this time it's not him calling off his stack against my 4bet on the flop and turning his gushot.
