I don't see why we would want to turn our pair into a bluff on the river (assuming we bet the turn). I don't know what we would be folding that has us beat.

As far as ratios are concerned, I think it's fairly unlikely that we have a lot of reason to want to balance against this opponent (this is a fancy-sounding sentence, and I write it mostly because I am just now beginning to think about what balance really means -- sorry if it sounds snooty).

Rule XV: You must at all times balance your range.

Haha... I saw your return post and I remembered that. But in case you were being serious: Why would we want to balance versus a person who is not going to be able to exploit us for being unbalanced?

I don't know it really matters what you do so much in this hand. Bait the aggro flush draw, or risk the bet-fold on the turn. In the end, if you think the guy will fire two with the missed draw, both seem reasonable. Because there is so little for him to rationally think he can get you to fold, I probably lean towards betting the turn. The less respect I have for the opponent, the more I will try and induce bluffs.

You are in the best position to make that judgment being at the table.

This has always been the problem with the english, they're so wet you get soaked just standing near them.

You live in Plymouth ffs, European city of culture 2007, have some self respect. It's not like your mum made her living with her knickers round her ankles and your dad is the entire crew of HMS Ark Royal. Insult me aggressively and creatively or git tae fuck.
