Default November

It's an hour early, but I don't plan on playing more tonight.

Did good at $200 NL live. Made $871 over 22.5 hours or $38.71/hr or 19.4 BB/hr. Probably close to what I make at my day job, I'd have to figure that out.

Made like a dollar or so online. Haven't been playing much online since live seems much more lucrative for me right now.

Also read all of Caro's book on Poker Tells. It was interesting, but most of it I already picked up on. Still, it got me to stop and watch more than I was doing before which is always good.

Played almoust only SnGs this month (22$+33$ 9er, 26$ 45er, 12$+36$ 180er Turbo).

Had 2 days where I played MTT and owned the 109$ 5k Grand at Party.... guess when this happened

Additionally about 100$ Rakeback+Boni (since FT deducts FT Store purchases from Rakeback ).

Finally I would say: Comfortable

I'm lazy so I'm copy/pasting this from the post I just wrote in the German thread on this.

Up about $150 playing I think, because Full Tilt is rigged and made me run 15 buy-ins under EV this month. Would've been decent, but no. Anyway, I didn't play enough hands either because I'm a lazy bastard. Furthermore, made Silver Star at Stars and Bronze at FT, not that it matters, but oh well. Oh yeah and like $370 in RB + assorted bonuses + micro-stakes PLO + assorted donkaments.

Don't feel like posting graph, because it's ugly.

+$520 I'd say in total.

Fuck November imo.

Really bad results again. Ended the month on +198. In addition to that I got a +100 bonus and +542 in rakeback. So +840 total. I only played 14K hands, so it could be variance, but it was really depressing to find out that I'm only breakeven over the last 4 months (about 100K hands). I really don't get it.

I started looking at my stats for 2/4 NL and 3/6NL 6-max during those 4 months yesterday, and I found some really weird things. For example, I've been winning about 18-24 bb/100 (big blinds, not big bets) utg, utg+1 and in the co, but only 10 on the button. That seems really weird to me. The last time I checked my stats for the different positions was probably two years ago, and that time I was winning twice as much on the button, not half as much. The weirdest thing I found was however my results in the blinds. I lost an insane -56 bb/100 in the bb, and an absolutely ridiculously insane -43 bb/100 in the sb. Unfortunately the sample size isn't big enough to prove anything conclusively (just 7.7K hands in each position), but the stats are at least suggesting that I'm doing something seriously wrong in the blinds and on the button. I'm going to have to look more closely at that, and try to figure out what that is.

1000NL +2800
600NL +3000
400NL +8000
200NL -1600
PLO +1000
Live +1000
Bonus +7000
=21200

I'm a bit worried that I lost money at 200NL as most of my hands were played there and it is my main game, if I can't beat it I think I could be in trouble in the future.

Uh, if you crushed 2/4 and made a significant amount at 3/6, what makes you think you'd have any problems with 1/2? These results are nothing but a very clear indication that you're beating 1/2 easily.

Well I have a sample size of ~350k hands at 1/2, and winning there at about 1.7ptbb/100 but it's on a constant decline, i mean 2 months ago it was 2ptbb and 5 months ago it was 2.5ptbb. Maybe I'm just paying less attention to those tables while playing the higher limits aswell.

hmmm, the losts in the blinds, are really a bit big...and that you're winning more in early position then in late is also strange...but as you said, sample size is pretty small and shouldn't take toooo serious...

however...i guess it can't hurt to look over your game and try to find the leaks...

nice month everyone...GRATZ
