chances are slim and none, since they can't open your mouthwash and try it out, lol. As for consequences the most they can do is hold it until your last day of the trip i believe, totally worth it.

Okay cool. I'm definitely doing it then. Might make my girlfriend sneak a bottle in her bag too. I'll report back after the trip to let y'all know how it went off.

Just got back from a Norwegian Cruise Line trip. They had one poker table (regular - not electronic) and ran 1/2 NL. I played one orbit before I figured out the rake situation - 10% rounded up to the nearest dollar, rake taken even without a flop, capped at $25 ! I don't think this is beatable long term even with cruise poker fish. I thought Carnival's $7 capped rake was pretty bad but $25 is insane for 1/2. And they don't comp drinks either at those prices!

On the plus side they ran three $60 rebuy tourneys and played on some of the other casino tables to accomodate ~35 players. The blind structure was such that the final table had a chipleader with only ~10BB each day so it ended in a crap shoot but still better structure than the nightly cash table.

Just back from 5 night cruise similar to PJ's out of NOLA on the Carnival Triumph.

Electronic poker table took a little bit of time getting used to but otherwise was not a problem to play on.
There was only 1 table, 10 players 1-2 No Limit
Rake was 15% to a max of $6. but at least there is no dealer to tip. You have to pay for drinks while playing.

They did have SnG's in the mornings but the structure was bad. $60 buy in 10 players and they paid top 2 $250 and $150. 1500 in chips with blinds starting at $50-$100. Not much push botting most players were content to hold on and try and cash.

The no limit game featured mostly limp/calling stations, all in maniacs with 'take my money" tattooed on thier forehead and yound kids who thought they were Durr.
Played 6 sessions on 4 days just ABC poker and wound up plus $205..nothing spectacular but had fun

yeah that's why I stayed away from the SnG's...the rake on the cash games were bad enough...but it's not like you can go to the casino across the street either
