Good, that was the ride i was most often assigned to.

On the Mic:

1. Loudly and clearly recite the safety instructions. (seat belt, no doing this or that, have fun)

2. Wait for platform to be clear (everyone behind the gate) and fellow employees to give the "all clear" signal

3. Give the all clear signal yourself. Which was a thumbs up. Keep those thumbs up and high workers and smile! yes you are cute little $8 an hour workers aren't you!?

4. Press and hold the big green button until the passenger car has completely left the station.

5. The second car (if there on that day) will unbrake and enter the station. Give the Welcome Back speech. (thanks for riding the viper, remember your belongings, please clear the platform)

6. Announce to awaiting passengers the gates are opening and press the yellow gate button.

On the Platform:

1. Wait for all guests to be seated and under safety bars.

2. Look for any hats or loose items while going through cars and ask guests to appropriately stow them away.

3. Engage safety lock on the car, push down and up on all individual safety bars, whether a guest is in the seat or not.

4. Continue for each subsequent car.

5. When all safety bars have been checked, give the "all clear" sign to the hot blonde chick that gave you her number but wouldn't pick up next day.

6. Press and hold the big green button behind you until the car has left the station.

7. When the next car reenters the station, make sure all guests exit the cars and take all their belongings.

At the front of the line:

1. Make sure no persons under the specified height enter the ride. Accompanied children under the specified height may enter the line but must be advised they cannot ride.

2. If the ride breaks down, close the gate and say the ride will be opened shortly. Never tell guests a specific amount of time until the ride will be up again.

3. Answer the dumbest, most inane questions you will ever hear in your life. Including to not limited to:

Where is the exit?
Am i tall enough? (Awful joke you will hear from 50,000 adults)
Should i take my hat off?
Where is there a bathroom around here? (the answer is right behind you)
Can you let me in anyway? (every child too small to ride)
Does the taco stand's nacho cheese come separate?

4. Become so bored you contemplate homicide, or at the very least a way to insult the next person that asks if he is tall enough to ride a ride that has been around since 1982.

5. At the end of the night, when you close the gate, someone will inevitably ask if you will let them in. Advise them that you are sorry but you just spent 12 hours in a hell hole and your khaki shorts are sweaty and would like to take your 40 minute drive home in deer infested streets now. Whining will not help.

6. If not working the next day, go to the mini golf place a little down the road to unwind and hit on fellow employees.
