Heads Up
Poker Glossary
Heads Up refers to when there are only two people in the pot. Example, a one versus one game is a heads up match. Another example of "heads up" is if one person raises preflop and only one person calls. The pot is "heads up" at the flop because there are only two people competing for the pot.
