Time Pot
Poker Glossary
This is a form of rake. For poker rooms that charge players a fee per half-hour or hour, they will allow the players to have that money taken out of two or three pots. Since the 'time' money is taken out of these pots, they are called time pots. These are pots that exceed a certain threshold (they are typically $200 or more).
