PokerStars Increases Tournament Guarantee

The $200+$15 tournament every Sunday at 4:30 EST on PokerStars has grown considerably in recent weeks. Due to this growth, PokerStars is now guaranteeing the prize pool will be at least $750,000, which is a 50% increase from the previous guarantee, $500,000.
The increase goes into effect for the February 5th tournament. This tournament will now need to draw 3,750 entrants in order for PokerStars to be able to avoid supplementing the prize pool. Last weekend, the tournament drew a record 3,999 entrants, so this guarantee increase will probably not result in an overlay.
