WPT Branded Poker Room

The World Poker Tour (WPT) recently made another deal to further their brand name in the poker world. The world's largest brick and mortar casino, Connecticut's Foxwoods Resort Casino, has partnered up with the WPT to create the first WPT-branded poker room. WPT CEO Steve Lipscomb says, "Poker players will experience the WPT excitement first hand in an environment that evokes the cool, classy, charismatic character of our show."
Foxwoods' new WPT poker room is set to debut late this March. The room will feature 114 poker tables which is said to allow for more tournament offerings. The cardroom will be smoke free and feature automatic card shuffling systems as well as a large capacity restaurant next to the poker arena.
