Party Poker CEO Steps Down

Richard Segal joined Party Gaming, the company that owns Party Poker, in August of 2004. While he was CEO of the largest online poker room, he successfully took the company public.
While Party Gaming is based in Gibraltar, Segal and his family resides in the United Kingdom. He was asked by Party Gaming's board of directors to relocate permanently to Gibraltar. Segal decided that he could not do so since he wanted to maintain his family ties.
