High Stakes Poker Season Two
Television, 2006-04-08, by TwoGun
GSN's new TV show High Stakes Poker will be returning for a second season due to the high ratings it has received. On the show, poker's best players gather in front of the cameras to play a game of high stakes no-limit hold'em. Each participant in the game plays with their own money. The minimum buy-in is $100,000.
The first season has been a success thanks to good poker commentary from A.J. Benza and Gabe Kaplan, as well as exciting poker action from players such as Phil Hellmuth, Doyle Brunson, Daniel Negreanu, and Sam Farha.
Game play for the second season will be shot April 10th and 11th at the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas. This footage will be edited into 16 episodes of High Stakes Poker.
