Party Poker's Late Night Poker Ace

Party Poker is running qualifiers for a tournament that will crown the "World's Best Amateur Poker Player". Only 32 players will participate in this tournament. Eight players from four different regions will battle in front of the TV cameras in Cardiff, Wales for a $160,000 prize pool. Party Poker has designated four regions from which participants will be represented in this tournament. They are Western Europe (United Kingdom, France, Holland, and Germany), The Americas, Scandinavia, and the "Rest of the World".

The footage recorded from this tournament will be aired on UK Channel 4 as "Late Night Poker Ace 2". The top 8 finishers will participate in a second televised tournament featuring a prize pool of $250k and superstars from the original "Late Night Poker" series. Among these include "Devilfish" Ulliot, Phil Hellmuth, and Daniel Negreanu.

Qualifiers for this tournament are currently running at Party Poker and start as affordable as $6. "Late Night Poker Ace" packages are valued at $7,500. The buy-in for this event is $5,000. Hotel accommodations will be given away valued at $1,000. Winners will also receive $1,500 in cash for travel expenses.

Party Poker does not accept real-money players from the United States.
