2006 WSOP Event #26: $1,500 Pot Limit Omaha with Rebuys
WSOP, 2006-07-19, by Ozone
During last year's WSOP, Eric Froehlich, better known as "E-Fro", won a bracelet at the age of 21. In doing so, he surpassed Gavin Griffin as the youngest player to win a bracelet. Evidently youth-based records appeal to E-Fro; this week he set another record when he became the youngest player with two career WSOP bracelets.
The $1,500 buy-in pot-limit Omaha with rebuys event drew 158 players to the felt. In the end, the 22 year old E-Fro was sitting with all of the chips, as well as a $300,000 first place prize. Long time high stakes player Chau Giang finished 3rd to win $90,000.
