Anti-Internet Gambling Legislation To Become Law

September 29 will forever be known as a truly black day for the online poker world. Senator Frist was able to tack on anti-internet gambling legislation onto a Port Securities bill, which was a bill guaranteed to be passed . Frist's add-on attempts to curb internet gambling by Americans by having banks block financial payments (credit cards, EFTs, etc.) to internet gambling sites. The bill has been passed by Congress and awaits to be signed by President Bush.
