Bush Signs UIGEA Into Law

Law, 2006-10-13, by TwoGun

Bush has finally signed the bill, resulting in drastic changes in the online poker world. Some sites, such as Party Poker, allowed US players to play until the bill officially became law. Players can now expect to see a drastic reduction in the number of players at these sites.

Most sites have by now officially stated whether or not they will continue to let Americans play there. Paradise Poker and PokerRoom recently announced that after an extensive legal review, they will no longer allow US customers.
