NBC To Air Late Night Poker Show

Television, 2006-10-15, by Ozone

Starting January 2nd, NBC will begin airing a nightly poker show titled "Poker After Dark". Each night six professional poker players will compete for a weekly winner-take-all pot of $120,000 that will be awarded on each Friday episode. The show will air at 2:05 am ET on every night but Sunday. Saturday nights a "Directors Cut" will recap the action from the previous week.

The host of the show is no stranger to hosting poker television shows. Former World Poker Tour girl Shana Hiatt has signed on to work with "Poker After Dark". Featured poker players set to participate on the show include Phil Ivey, Daniel Negreanu, and Chris "Jesus" Ferguson (amongst others).
