Party Poker Launches Broadband Poker Channel
Poker on the Web, 2006-10-19, by Ozone
Poker fans can now watch various poker television programs through their computer thanks to Party Poker. The popular online poker room recently launched a broadband poker channel. The channel features archives of several poker tournaments from around the world.
Among the programs are nine episodes of the popular UK show "Late Night Poker Ace". Another show featured is three episodes of the United Strongman Series. Although one might ponder what connection this show has to poker, power lifting fans can enjoy three episodes of a televised competition searching for the world's strongest man.
One show tours the "crib" of Party Poker spokesman Mike Sexton. This show gives viewers a nice glimpse at where all that rake money goes.
