Pacific Poker Revamps Sit'N'Go Structure
Online Tournaments, 2006-10-28, by Ozone
After listening to suggestions from their customers, Pacific Poker changed some aspects of their sit'n'go tournaments. Small stakes players should note that entry fees were reduced for the $1 and $2 tournaments. Previously a $1 sit'n'go tournaments had an entry fee of $0.50. The fee has now been lowered to $0.25.
In addition to smaller entry fees, players will also receive larger starting chip stacks. For example, the starting chip stack in $10 tournaments was increased from 800 up to 1,200.
Pacific Poker also added "Triple Up" sit'n'go tournaments where 3 players battle it out in winner-take-all fashion. For high stakes players, $750 buy-in sit'n'go tournaments were added to the network.
