Potential Party Gaming/888 Merger

After the passage of the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act (UIGEA), many major online gambling firms were devastated due to their decision to no longer accept US players. Both Party Gaming, which owns Party Poker, and 888, which owns Pacific Poker, lost many players due to this decision.

It is believed thes two firms are in talks of a merger worth $3 billion. More information on this story will likely come out in the next several weeks.

Pacific Poker does not accept real-money players from the United States.
