Toronto Poker Players Robbed

Law, 2006-11-28, by Ozone

A poker game in Toronto was interrupted last week by three armed robbers. Twenty men playing at the Thornhill Social Club were robbed and roughed up during the 4 am crime. The three assailants fired shots into the ceiling and fled the scene in a van.

After the police began to pursue the van, a passenger leaned out and fired several shots at the officers. The suspects were able to elude police. However, all three of the men were arrested within a day later. One of the three had managed to flee to London before being picked up.
