Hayden Christensen Set To Portray Phil Hellmuth

A movie on Phil Hellmuth's life titled 'The Madison Kid' will feature Hayden Christensen in the lead role. The plot will detail Hellmuth's early 20s when he dropped out of the University of Wisconsin-Madison to play poker full time. At the age of 24 he became the youngest World Champion of Poker by defeating Johnny Chan in the 1989 WSOP.

Hayden Christensen is best known for his role as Anakin Skywalker in Episodes II and III of the Star Wars franchise. Production of 'The Madison Kid' is set to begin in April or May of 2007 in Winnipeg, Canada.
