Potential Acquisition of 888

888 is one of the largest online gambling companies, owning well-known poker site Pacific Poker. It will likely be soon acquired by Ladbrokes. The price tag for 888 is reportedly 490 million pounds.

888 is a public company, currently trading at 132p share. If the deal goes through, Ladbrokes would acquire 888 at 145p a share. The deal might be announced as early as next week.
