UK Open Soon Hits The Air On DSF

One of Europe's most popular poker TV shows is back. Starting on December 24th, Pacific Poker's UK Poker Open will begin airing on DSF. Episodes will run through the finals scheduled to air on February 4th and 5th.
This season four Germans are in the hunt for the $250,000 first place prize. Among them include German poker commentator Michael Korner and German poker pro Dr. Michael Keiner. Both of these men will serve as commentators for the show, which means they will be critiquing pre-recorded footage of themselves playing poker.
The UK Poker Open is a series of 18 six-player single table tournaments. Each of the 18 winners advance to one of three semifinal tournaments. The top two finishers in each semifinal tournament will compose the final table of six players. The buy-in for this event was $7,500 and took place between September 25th and October 8th at Marriott Tudor Park Hotel & Country Club in Maidstone, Kent.
