European Poker Tour Adds a Stop in Germany

Tournaments, 2006-12-21, by Ozone

The European Poker Tour will soon roll into Germany for the first time. Casino Hohensyburg will host a €5,000 buy-in (roughly $6,590) tournament that is scheduled to run March 8-11, 2007. The event is capped at 400 entrants and will be filmed as part of the EPT television series.

John Duthie, director of the EPT, added, "There are not that many venues in Germany with the space and facilities required to host an EPT tournament, but Casino Hohensyberg in Dortmund is an outstanding casino and comfortably meets the high standards required."
