Football Player Acquitted In Gambling Case

, 2005-01-30, by TwoGun

Corey Fuller has been acquitted of gun and gambling charges associated with running high-stakes card games in his house. The prosecution claimed that Fuller took a cut of the proceeds of gambling games played in house and that he precided over these games like a pit boss. If convicted, Fuller faced up to five years in prison. The jury deliberated for only two hours before acquitting Fuller of all charges. For more information, check out this CNN/SI Article.
