Million Dollar Tournament

, 2005-02-19, by TwoGun

A lot of attention is focused on the WSOP and other brick and mortar tournaments because the prize pools at those tournaments are very high. This is because the buyins to these tournaments are quite steep, generally about $10,000. Sometimes online poker rooms promote tournaments that also have very large prize pools. The buyins to these tournaments are generally much less, but many more people enter them. On March 26, Pacific Poker will be hosting a tournament with a guaranteed million dollar prize pool. Thus, even if not that many people enter the tournament, Pacific Poker will add money to the prize pool to make it at least a million dollars. The buyin to this tournament is $440+$40. Pacific will also be hosting many satellites to this tournament. For more information about Pacific Poker, check out our Pacific Poker Review.

Pacific Poker does not accept real-money players from the United States.
