Poker Video Game

Online poker is popular for both real money and play money (fake money). Eager to gain market share in the play money poker scene, video game makers are looking into producing poker video games. Recently, World Poker Tour signed a deal with Take-Two Interactive Software to produce a poker video game. This video game would only be for play money. Take-Two is a well-known software brand, producing popular games such as Grand Theft Auto.

It is difficult to tell how popular this game will be. After all, people can play poker for fake money over the internet at all the online poker rooms for free. Personally, I think it will take exceptional software to convince a lot of people that they should pay money to do something that they can already do for free.
