Higher Stakes No-Limit at Empire/Party

, 2005-03-02, by TwoGun

Empire Poker and Party Poker have long been one of the few poker rooms to not offer higher-stakes no-limit holdem games. The highest game available was just a $2-$4 blind game, and the maximum buyin for this game was $200 (50 big blinds). This annoyed many high stakes players and forced them to play elsewhere.

Apparently, they wised up. They have increased the maximum buyin for their no-limit/pot-limit games to 100 big blinds for both Texas holdem and Omaha. They have also added $3-$6 and $5-$10 no-limit/pot-limit games. These games are incredibly popular and seem to be very soft for such higher stakes games. For more information about these sites, check out our Empire Poker Review or our Party Poker Review

Party Poker does not accept real-money players from the United States.
