Travel Channel Declines Option For WPT Season Six

Last night, the fifth season of the hit TV show "World Poker Tour" premiered on the Travel Channel. Today, WPT Enterprises announced the Travel Channel has declined their option to air the sixth season of the show. The group also announced a licensing deal made with Game Show Network LLC, who will air the show's sixth season.
The terms of their agreement with the Game Show Network state that WPT will receive a $300,000 licensing fee per episode. The network will also have options for seasons seven and eight of the show.
