Titan Poker's European Championships of Online Poker Update

Online Tournaments, 2007-12-05, by Ozone

Six tournaments down and four to go in Titan Poker's inaugural European Championships of Online Poker. So far the series has been a huge success with most tournaments drawing enough participants to far exceed the guaranteed prize pool.

Yesterday's event, an $800 buy-in no-limit hold'em tournament with a guaranteed prize pool of $200,000, drew an astounding 409 players. That meant the prize pool exceeded 150% of the guarantee. "OmarIShere" won the tournament and a cool $76,000.

Sunday's Main Event, a $1,000+$60 buy-in with a guaranteed prize pool of $1,000,000, already has 398 players registered. This will be one of the biggest online tournaments held this year. There is still plenty of time to win a seat. Satellites are running constantly at Titan Poker.

Titan Poker does not accept real-money players from the United States.
