Rake Lowered at London Poker Club
, 2005-03-27, by TwoGun
Previously, the London Poker Club used to take a rake on all hands, including hands that did not see a flop (meaning someone stole the blinds or everyone folded to the big blind). This was annoying if you played shorthanded games a lot because the blinds are sometimes stolen.
The London Poker Club has stopped this practice, which is a nice act of goodwill towards players. No other major poker room takes a rake on hands that do not see a flop, so it is good that LPC is adopting this practice.
