The World Poker Tour is a popular show on television. It features a number of tournaments around the world where poker players, both pros and amateurs, compete for large prize pools.
Since the buy-in at these tournaments are so large, there is often a lot of money up for grabs. After a $7 million prize pool at a recent tournament, the total prize pools for all WPT events is over $100 million.
