The third circuit tournament of the 2005 WSOP Circuit took place in Las Vegas at the Rio. The tournament's $10,000 buy-in No Limit Holdem Championship event ended on March 23rd with a stellar final table. Out of an entrant pool of 222, only ten remained for the final day.

Of the ten finalists, three were former gold bracelet winners. However, two exited early. Two-time gold bracelet winner Tony Ma placed 10th, coming into the final day as the short stack. Crowd favorite Phil Ivey (four gold bracelets) left in 8th place due to an untimely steal.

The third former bracelet winner, Jennifer Harman, made it to heads up play (as the shorter stack). Nevertheless, Harman finished in second place to new gold bracelet winner Doug Lee. This 35 year-old real estate investor from Canada took home $695,970 in prize money. Harman received $383,840 for second place. The total prize pool reached $2,109,005.
