EPT Season #5: EPT Budapest €4,350 No-Limit Hold'em

The first ever EPT Budapest was a huge success; 532 players made their way to Hungary to participate in the €4,350 buy-in tournament. Poker newcomer William Fry from England burst into the poker spotlight by winning the tournament. His victory came with a cool €595,000. Romanian Ciprian Hrisca picked an impressive way to make his first cash in a major live tournament by finishing in second place which was good for €342,000.
Also making his first cash in a live tournament was Swede Martin Jacobsen who won €197,000 for third place. Norwegian pro Johnny Lodden finished in eight place which added €53,000 to his career winnings.
The next EPT event is the Polish Open which takes place in two weeks in Warsaw, Poland.
