Pacific Poker Sweetens WSOP Qualifiers
Online Tournaments, 2009-03-02, by Ozone
In an industry first of sorts, 888 Poker is adding a lot of value to playing their WSOP satellites. Anyone who buys in directly to a $525+$25 WSOP Main Event satellite receives a free seat to their Sunday $100k Deep Stack Challenge event. The buy-in for the Deep Stack Challenge is $130+$10, so this is a significant chunk of value being given away.
Every Saturday at 20:00 GMT through June 13th, a $525+$25 WSOP qualifier will be held at 888 Poker. Winners will receive a package worth $17,000 that includes buy-in to the Main Event, $2,000 spending money, $2,500 for traveling expenses, and ten days accommodation in the new five-star resort Palazzo.
Satellites to the $525+$25 event start as low as $1.10. Players who buy-in directly receive a seat in the following day's Deep Stack Challenge event.
PokerTips readers have a unique chance to play in the $100k Deep Stack Challenge at 888 Poker. Every Saturday, a $1+$.10 satellite is held exclusively for our readers where the top two finishers receive seats. This tournament always has a significant overlay. See this news article for more information.
