Pacific Poker Grandstand
, 2005-04-30, by TwoGun
Pacific Poker held their $250k Grandstand Tournament today (Saturday) at 6 pm ET. This means that the prize pool would be at least $250,000, no matter how many people enter the tournament. The buy-in for the tournament was $100+$10.
Only 2110 people are registered for the tournament. Because of this, Pacific had to add $39,000 to the prize pool.
Pacific Poker seems to frequently add large sums of money to their prize pool. Last month, they had a million dollar guaranteed tournament where they ended up adding $352,400 to the prize pool.
