Kentucky Sues Full Tilt Poker
Law, 2010-04-08, by TwoGun
Soon after it was revealed that the Feds are investigating Full Tilt Poker, Kentucky is suing Full Tilt Poker to recover all of the losses of Kentucky residents for the past five years.
Under an old Kentucky statute, a losing gambler can sue a casino for losses made during an illegal game and recover up to three times the amount lost. After six months go by, anyone can make the lawsuit on behalf of the gambler.
It is not clear if by 'losses' they mean actual dollars lost or rake taken.
