EPT, 2010-08-16, by Ozone
Season seven of the European Poker Tour started last week in Tallinn, Estonia. The new venue on the EPT schedule drew 420 players for the €4,250 buy-in championship. Seven different nations were represented among the eight players at the final table with Russia being the only country with multiple representatives.
In the end, Norwegian Kevin Stani claimed the €400,000 first-place prize after beating out 22 year old Russian Konstantin Bilyauer (€250,000).
Frenchman Arnaud Mattern nearly became the first two-time EPT champion but had to settle for a third-place payday worth €160,000. Mattern won EPT Prague back in season four.
The next EPT event will be held in Vilamoura, Portugal at the end of this month.
