The forums are one of PokerTips.org best assets. Players at a variety of skill levels can seek and give advice to players from around the world.
A lot of readers at PokerTips.org are probably fairly new to poker and are unclear of some of the basic strategies and rules of the game. To help out these types of readers, we have added a Newbie Forum where these players can ask questions related to starting out with poker. These questions can range from a rules clarification to how much money is generally needed to play in a low-stakes home game.
Previously, these types of questions tended to be posted in the Players Lounge or the General Holdem Strategy forums.
