The increasing popularity of poker has sometimes beeb incongruous with the laws of certain areas. Recently, New York City police raided two major poker parlors. These places were allegedly illegally hosting and profiting from poker games.
These poker parlors were fairly large and supposedly made between $20,000 to $30,000 a night from the games they hosted.
