2011 WSOP Europe Event #5: €10,400 No-Limit Hold'em (Split Format)

Michael "The Grinder" Mizrachi has won his second career WSOP bracelet in the €10,400 "mix-max" event in Cannes, France. The event, which drew 125 entrants, started nine-handed on day one. Players who returned on day two played six-handed. When play reached the final 16 players, the event transformed into a heads-up shootout.

Mizrachi earned €336,000 for the win moving him past John Juanda into 6th place on the all-time winnings list.

Finishing runner-up was Canadian Shaun Buchanan (€207,000). It was Buchanan's third cash in the brief series.

American pros Jason Mercier and Erik Seidel finished 9th and 12th, respectively.

The WSOP-Europe Main Event is currently underway in Cannes. Day 1A is being played right now, 308 players entered the first flight of the €10,400 buy-in event.
