Celebrities, 2011-10-27, by Ozone

Linda Johnson and Barry Greenstein will be the 41st and 42nd inductees to the Poker Hall of Fame. The two were among ten nominees voted on by a 35 member panel consisting of living HOF members and poker media persons.

Johnson will join Barbara Enright as the only females in the Poker HOF. She began playing poker in the 1970s and purchased CardPlayer Magazine in 1993. In that time, she became an ambassador for the game by helping establish the World Poker Industry Conference and Tournament Directors Association.

He has amassed more than $7.5 million in tournament winnings and is known for his participation in high stakes cash games. He has donated more than $3 million to child-focused charities which has earned him the nickname "The Robin Hood of Poker".

Greestein and Johnson will be inducted into the Hall of Fame in a ceremony set to take place on November 8th at the Rio in Las Vegas.
