Jake Cody Becomes Newest Team PKR Pro
Online Poker, 2011-11-18, by Ozone
The 3-D online poker room PKR has signed one of the game's top young players to its stable of sponsored pros. Twenty-two year old Jake Cody of England is the newest addition to Team PKR.
Said Cody on the signing, "I'm very excited about joining Team PKR Pro. I've been patient with sponsorship, waiting for the right deal to come along. When I spoke to PKR, I was really impressed with the whole setup and the ideas that they have going forward and I knew straight away I wanted to be part of it! It's a great site to be involved with right now and I think I can help take it to the next level."
Cody is just one of four men to have completed poker's "triple crown" by winning WPT, EPT and WSOP events. He won EPT Deaville in January 2010 for €857,000. Eight months later, he won WPT London for £273,783. Earlier this year at the WSOP, Cody won the $25,000 heads-up championship for $851,192.
Join Cody in PKR's 3-D poker games by using first-time deposit code PTIPS100 to receive a bonus of 100% up to $800.
