888 and Caesars Entertainment Strengthen Relationship
Business, 2012-02-01, by Ozone
888, the parent company of 888 Poker, announced yesterday a deal with Caesars Entertainment to license their online poker software in the event of "much anticipated" legislation in the U.S. The deal allows Caesars, owners and operators of the World Series of Poker (WSOP), to make use of 888 Poker's software offerings if and when they are able to offer online poker games to American customers.
This partnership is not altogether new. 888 has provided Caesars with the software to market their World Series of Poker brand to UK players for over three years.
888 Poker has been one of the fastest growing online poker rooms as of late; their traffic has increased 70% over the past year despite the global poker market seeing a decrease of 32% due to the events of Black Friday.
