Full Tilt Sale Expected to be Completed Next Week

Business, 2012-03-15, by Ozone

The roller coaster of rumors and speculation regarding the sale of Full Tilt Poker to Groupe Bernard Tapie (GBT) appears to have hit a new peak. According to EGR Magazine, the acquisition is expected to be completed before the end of next week. The two sides have been negotiating a deal for several months that would repay Full Tilt players worldwide.

The EGR article also stated that GBT is in talks with the Alderney Gaming Control Commission (AGCC) who suspended Full Tilt's gaming license last June. AGCC has expressed a willingness to reinstate the license in the event that Full Tilt is taken over by new management.

If a deal is completed by the end of next week, it remains unclear how long it will take to relaunch the site and grant players access to their account balances.
