IGT to Acquire Wager Works

If you visit a land-based casino in the United States and pay attention to the slot machines in the casino, you would notice that many of them are produced by IGT. This company, based in Nevada, is in fact the largest slot machine manufacturer in the world.
Previously, they were absent from the online gambling industry. However, they are in the process of acquiring Wager Works, one of the smaller online gambling software companies. Wager Works provides the software for companies such as Virgin Games. Wager Works has both online casino and online poker software.
The deal is reportedly worth $90 million.
