, 2005-08-10, by TwoGun

In our Poker Books section, we review poker books based on the quality of the content of the work, as well as the quality of its presentation.

We have added reviews of Aces and Kings by Michael Kaplan and Brad Reagan and The Making of a Poker Player by Matt Matros.

Aces and Kings is a series of profiles of some of the more famous poker players. Each profile contains stories about the pro, as well as strategies that the pro has employed at the table.

The Making of a Poker Player is an autobiography by Matt Matros. He details about how he rose to the poker elite. It provides both stories of his life as well as strategies to help the reader improve his or her own skills.
