Party Gaming Stock Takes Hit
, 2005-09-07, by TwoGun
After releasing their interim results, Party Gaming (PRTY.L) scared many investors by warning that the growth in their poker room would be below their estimates.
Previously, it was estimated that their poker room would double this year and then grow at a rate of 45%. While Party Gaming still estimated strong growth, these estimates appear to be too high.
After this announcement, their stock price fell by 33%. Other online gambling stocks saw their prices fall significantly during trading as well.
